    A diet is all that we consume in a day. And a balanced diet is a diet that contains an adequate quantity of the nutrients that we require in a day. A balanced diet includes six main nutrients, i.e. Fats, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fibre, Vitamins, and Minerals. All these nutrients are present in the foods that we eat. Meals complete with the right amounts of nutrients define a balanced diet. A healthy diet should contain food from all groups - proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Always remember, variety is the spice of life. The more varied food you give your Lovebird, the less trouble it will give you at meal times.

    Maybe you- the dedicated nutrition nerd - need to escape from the madness. Maybe you want to send your friends a book full of common sense (but maybe don't be that person).
